ParkingEye clock accuracy claims a myth

ParkingEye claims that their systems are time synchronised appear to be not totally accurate.

This ticket from Asda in Hemel Hempstead was purchased on 30/10/2016, but expired in March.

Oops.

Happy Parking

  1. The Vat number belongs to Asda Stores; so clearly any contract is with Asda.

    1. It's complicated. Asda pay PE the amount of VAT directly to them monthly from an invoice raised by PE.

Asda then show it as a VAT payment in their accounts to offset the payment to PE.
PE then show it on their own VAT accounts.

  2. Expired, not expires. They've bought a ticket which has already expired. Another veritable moneyspinner for the entrepreneurs at Parking Eye!
