London Councils meet behind closed doors to determine the fate of POPLA

On Thursday London Councils will be meeting to discuss amongst other things the fate of POPLA.



 Item 101, discussing the continuation of the POPLA service, will be held behind closed doors.

No doubt all will become clear once the minutes are available.

    Didn't the Local Government Act 2000 supersede the 1972 version?

    So if POPLA doesn't get the endorsement it needs does it fold or does it become entirely funded by the BPA?

      Presumably the BPA puts the contract out to tender?

      They may ask the IAS to tender for it as that would save their members some money!

    It's nice that Nick Lester is no longer a director of the BPA Ltd. He no longer has to hide his uncomfortable conflict of interest.
