Aldi secret clause. Can only cancel ParkingEye ticket if there is a minimum spend of £30

Aldi have confirmed their contract with ParkingEye only allows them to cancel parking tickets if the motorist spends £30 or more in store.

This at least clarifies the circumstances in which tickets will be summarily cancelled.

Several posters have helpfully put this on the Aldi facebook site.

  1. According to Aldi's FB page the customer has managed to get the charge cancelled, but the person she spoke to denied the existence of the minimum spend limit. So are PE out of control and doing things without Aldi's permission or knowledge?
