The figure of 1844 cases filed in a week is a new record for ParkingEye, easily beating their old record of 1074.
Exhausted by their efforts they then appeared to take a few weeks off, only filing cases in one week of the next six. The figure of no cases filed for three weeks is also a new ParkingEye record.
The Prankster will continue to monitor the situation to see if this is a true change of direction for ParkingEye or whether they just took an early Christmas break and will be back filing regularly in the New Year.

They've taken to promoting their nefarious practices on twitter. Methinks the poplaganda weasel is going to be busy.

ReplyDeleteI remember - a reduction in pressure upon HM Courts Sercice
Hmm, when did they get bought... Oh yes, November 5th.
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, the drop off started around the time that they started losing all those cases, making a complete mockery of the claims on their website. Their latest blizzards which they send to defendants are increasingly full of bluff, bluster, and completely irrelevant case references. And they still believe that Fairlie v Fenton helps their case, when if fact it's the exact opposite. Sounds like they're getting a bit desperate in Chorley Towers as their whole business model is exposed as a sham by the Courts and POPLA.
ReplyDeleteWhat a week it had been; Rachel had signed a 1000 claims and statements of truth (whilst carefully crossing her fingers) and stating that her costs for preparing each claim were £50. A total of £50,000 for one weeks work is not bad by any stretch of the imagination and it certainly mde the figures for the week look good, surely her new friends at Crapita whould appreciate this and maybe find her a job at Optima when they eventually closed the office at Chorley after all she did get a 2:1 in law from a provincial university.
ReplyDeleteThe only fly in the ointment was that neither the Courts nor POPLA any longer believed the documentation Rachel was signing. POPLA had long since given up on believing Parking Eyes account of their statement of loss and routinely overturned PEs claims in favour of the motorist.
Now the courts were staring to do the same.
A shiver went down Rachels spine.
