Expedion are the new debt collectors used by ANPR Ltd.
From their web site it appears that they pre-judge all cases, and regardless of any 'evidence before us' already decide that the motorist's chances are slim. Expedion certainly appear to take on any case, however slim their own chances; The Prankster has previously reported how they are pursuing a motorist over a parking charge issued to a black car when the motorist's car was orange.
Expedion is run by director Patrick Crossley who also works for ANPR Ltd.
The company secretary is Peter Howarth.
Happy Parking
The Parking Prankster
The company was only formed in April of this year so aren't exactly highly experienced in this field. I think their chances of using that advertising for very long are less than slim.
ReplyDeleteThe site doesn't say what the chances of "shelving your details" are; perhaps they are very high indeed.
The chances of ANPR Ltd, i.e. Expedion defending a well constructed POPLA appeal are slim. Or rather nil in my experience.
ReplyDeleteThis website just goes to show what a shady outfit lots of parking companies still are... I still struggle to accept that those cowboys have access to DVLA keeper data!
ReplyDeleteI believe that they are not licensed debt collectors. That means that they might probably be able to chase "debts" owed to ANPR (because they are part of the same group.) But rents and sundry debts? I doubt it. Unless Trev owns a few houses he rents out.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if Pembrokeshire CC know a business is being run from it?
Should I alert them?
Why would this make any difference?
DeleteIf they are using it as business premises , then NDR are chargeable on the non domestic part .
DeleteAnd why not upset them?.
It's almost as though the name of the company was chosen to sound like Experian making people think it could affect their credit rating
ReplyDeleteIt would seem the image on their website was shamelessly stolen from here:
ReplyDeletehttp://casichilied.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/tuesday-last-chance-race-is-on-for.html
As that page was only posted recently, that seems unlikely. A google image search revels other pages with this picture, so it is most likely a stock image
DeleteI suppose, it is possible. There is an earlier (2012) occurrence of the image here:
Deletehttp://ubet2win.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/taken-from-my-sunday-notes.html
While the expedion.co.uk whois request shows the domain was registered in 2014.
But, as you say, the image does appear in several websites. There is also a matter of "The" not being in the two images I've linked, so might have come from a different source altogether.
Hi.
ReplyDeleteI have just received a letter from these with what appears to be court papers.
Should I pay it or ignore it?
Thanks in advance.
So far these guys have never done court. If they are real court papers, they will have a reference number and a court stamp. Always reply to real court papers.
