A motorist has reported their vehicle was keyed while parked at home following their appeal of a parking charge from a private parking company.
This may of course be a co-incidence, and may be the result of a rogue warden angry at not getting their bonus. However, if this has happened to you, please contact The Prankster at prankster@parking-prankster.com with evidence of the keying, the parking charge and the appeal.
If a pattern emerges, this can then be taken further with the appropriate bodies.

Was this a parking charge notice?
ReplyDeleteYes, from a private parking company
ReplyDeleteWas it a ppc that operates in particular part of the UK or a national ppc out of curiosity?
ReplyDelete...an industry to be proud of!
ReplyDeleteI would be interested in how the motorist has linked the two incidents. From what has been written, any link appears purely speculative and in that respect is no better than the average PPC invoice.
ReplyDeleteI am all for controlling PPCs, but this post does seem to fall below the usually excellent journalistic standards of this blog
Keep up the good work
Agreed. Any purported connection is tenuous at best. I note that the blog accepts it may be a coincidence but the implication of the post is clear, as is the response it is likely to illicit (see cjdenver's post above).

DeleteHow awful of me.
I want to find if there is a link, or if this was a coincidence. The best way to do this is to put the information out there, and see if I get anything back. I have been careful not to identify the purported ppc. If I get any replies over the coming months, this can be investigated further. If not...it was a coincidence.
DeleteFair point sir, thank you for the clarification
